Wear & Repair: an Osteoarthritis knee story using healthy linguistics

This is an exploration of the possible impact of the linguistic elements behind a persons experience of osteoarthritis. In essence, we’re looking at how healthcare providers can use language to provide a more positive, memorable and truthful story.

I have presented examples like this at recent conferences and participants often ask for a copy. So here is a rather didactic patient  interaction, with an analysis to follow.
